Philip is a digital artist from New Orleans, Louisiana, with eighteen year’s professional industry experience. Working in the US, Canada and around the world he has worked on many blockbusters in the studio and on set.

About Me

About The Artist:

Supervisor, Lead, On Set, Artist. 
  Philip is a digital artist from New Orleans, Louisiana, with eighteen year’s professional
industry experience. He graduated from Full Sail Real World Education in 2007 with a
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Animation, his focus being Hard Surface
Environment Modeling. In addition, Philip received a Course Directors Award for Character
Animation, and received a Certificate of Completion for extended studies in the Media Arts.

  Philip over the years has worked in various departments at multiple studios... Frantic
Films, Prime Focus, Digital Domain, Method Studios, Framestore and Zoic Studios. His
skills ranged from Modeling, Lighting, Texturing, Integration, Animation, Matchmove and
Layout. Some Films across these studios that hit the Silver Screen are “James Cameron’s
Avatar", “Tron Legacy”, Ford Vs Ferrari", “Thor Love and Thunder” and "Thor Ragnarök"
Current TV series “Sweet Tooth”, “The Witcher”, “The Boys” and “House of Dragons”.

  In addition to working post, Philip has also worked on multiple high-end production sets.
His tasks on these big productions take him through multiple roles from Capturing Meta
Data, Witness Cameras and HDRI's to Reference Images, Textures and taking set
measurements for use with Layout and Lidar. A few of these productions were, "Dead Pool
2", "Captain America 3, Civil War" Microsoft’s "Halo 5, Guardians" and "Final Destination
5". Philip has in addition worked as a VFX Supervisor on multiple sets. For Netflix; Feature
"Step Sisters", National Spots and Commercials like "Powerball", "Georgia Lottery" and
"Belk". Recently, Rosado was seen as an Animation and Integration Set Supervisor,
working close with Robert Zemeckis and talent on “The Witches”. These features and
commercials took Philip to multiple locations around the globe where he worked with
some of the industry's top directors and actors, artists and teams creating some high-end
national spots, to Oscar nominated features.

  Currently, Philip is working for Zoic Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia as the Creative
Layout Supervisor. Tasks here are building out the Layout Department and helping
establish a new unified pipeline across all of Zoics Studios. In Addition, he is assisting in
the setup of a new pipeline with USD "Universal Scene Description". This enables his artist
to work more efficiently and effectively on massive environment layouts.
